gross food

i heart hostess lemon fruit pies. i dont eat them often, they are super sweet and i dont tend to crave sweet foods, but i had one today. the last time i had one i read the nutrition facts (see bottom picture) and it turns out they have 22 grams of fat (which means i should have had a salami sandwich for breakfast instead).

also, here are the ingredients (taken from foodfacts.com):
INGREDIENTS: Wheat Flour Enriched [ Flour, Barley Malt, Ferrous Sulfate, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid], Water, Vegetable Shortening and/or, Animal Shortening [ Soybean(s) Oil Partially Hydrogenated, Cottonseed Oil Partially Hydrogenated, Beef Fat], Corn Syrup High Fructose, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Cornstarch Modified, Corn Starch Contains 2% or less of the Following: (, Salt, Egg(s) Whole, Lemon(s) Puree, Soy Flour, Butter, Agar, Locust Bean Gum, Natural and Artificial Flavor(s), Citric Acid, Whey, Baking Soda, Corn Flour, Corn Dextrins, Calcium Carbonate, Soy Lecithin, Mono and Diglycerides, Dextrose, Lemon(s) Juice Solids, Lemon(s) Oil, Calcium Sulphate (Sulfate), Soy Protein Isolate, Sodium Caseinate, Sodium Phosphate, Preservative [ Sodium Propionate, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate], Color Added [ Yellow 5, Yellow 6]
notice that beef fat is one of them. i wonder if thats in the filling, or in the crust. either way, pretty gross.
