this is a picture i took of the hospital that my dad was born at. many of you have likely seen it, its the abandoned building on fulton where the 180 exits. im not sure why its just sitting there still, but i think we should buy it, renovate it, and all live there. its pretty big, we could have parties every day.

are you sure that was a hospital? i thought it was something different. are you thinking of the old saint agnes (which is @ floradora & fruit)?
ill ask my dad
okay, i called the fresno historical society and they said it was a hospital, the Sample Sanitarium, from 1915-1960-ish.

and she said not to be confused by the word sanitarium.
ah, see, i thought it was one of those, which i wouldn't associate w/hospital by name.
that answers that. you busy little beaver.
Does that mean I was born there?
Maybe I got the story mixed up. I don't remember much of the day.
okay, now ive talked to my dad and done more research. it was called something different when he was born there, sequoia hospital or something, but its the same one. from what i read some doctors bought it and renamed it. so, yes dad, you were born there.
Hey Sara. Got the cute Christmas card. I can't wait to see Georgia! We fly out Sunday!
I was born there too!! I think you should buy it too. I know a very old Doctor that worked there...
unless there's an elevator/escalator in it, i want to have my room on the main floor.
do i know an old doctor thet worked there as well?
and im not opposed to an elevator, or to you living on the main floor. whatever you want, mike. but i figured adams wood shop would also be on the main floor, so it might be a bit loud with all that hammering going on.
i'll hang a sheet and wear ear plugs.
mike...always thinking.
It caught fire a year or two ago I think.
that's crazy talk.
Party every day???
I thought every day was already a party. It's just that some parties are more fun than others
